Mimecast clients were notified in April 2026 that their Web Security is being made End of Life (EOL).
Mimecast explained…
“After careful evaluation, Mimecast has made the decision to End-of-Life Web Security starting August 2nd, 2026. Customers will have 12 months to transition to an alternative solution, with service being fully discontinued on August 2nd, 2027.
We recognise this requires you to make a change, and we are committed to making that transition as straightforward as possible. Retiring Web Security allows Mimecast to concentrate investment on its core strengths in Human/Agent risk, email security, governance and compliance, and data protection.”
